When I was 5 years old,  my mother gave me the opportunity to select the paint colors for my “new” bedroom.  I was all grown up now and getting my parents old double bed.  This was my first “job” and I still use and love those same colors – Purples and Greens.  Color brings joy and happiness to life!  A sense of harmony, proportion and style can make a space peaceful or exciting.  I’ve also played the black and white scene, which brings drama and a great backdrop for color accents and art work.

My mother sent me to various ART schools from that time on where I learned to draw in pastels and charcoal, and later to paint in watercolors and do black & white photography.
I had the opportunity to experiment in a multitude of media.   In High School, my best friend and I started designing houses and interiors.  We would walk the hills in Bel Air, find an open lot, and start to work.

My passions include designing and updating kitchens and bathrooms; space planning; paint colors; accessorizing, re-design, creating customized furniture, staging for real estate home sales to improve the value,  choosing art work……and all with a sense of proportion, color and style.   I’m always looking for new opportunities to be creative and help someone to enjoy their home environment.

I graduated from UCLA, School of Fine Arts, with emphasis in Design, in 1971, and continue to take advanced courses at UCLA to keep myself current on the latest surface materials, techniques, and advancements.

I have worked in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Culver City, West Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, Westlake, Calabasas, Thousand Oaks, the greater San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, San Diego, and New York.

I live in Westlake Village and love to entertain friends at home, travel and play golf.
